Attention!!!
Many buyers may misunderstand that 1D, 2D, 3D represent length
for example,
M5x0.8x2D=5mm*2=10mm
M5x0.8x3D=5mm*3=15mm
Actually, it's incorrect.
It is the length after installing
Eg. M5x0.8x1.5D
M5x0.8,indicates that the internal thread after installation is M5x0.8
1.5D, indicating that the minimum depth of the mounting hole is 1.5D=5mm*1.5=7.5mm
Before-install length (actual length) is 5mm.
5mm < 7.5mm, actual length is less than hole depth length.
(1) The actual length is less than the length after installing.
(2) The pitch is after installing not before installing.
(3) The way of measuring
When you receive this insert ,you could count the quantity of the cirles and measure the outside diameter according the sheet below and confirm if you receive the right size.
